OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will support participants funded under the NDIS in their homes and community settings. This is a flexible, mobile-based position with full administrative support and a focus on client outcomes — not KPIs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • ABN and Professional Indemnity/Public Liability insurance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and disability sector
  • Ability to work independently, manage flexible caseloads, and meet reporting timelines

Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred occupational therapy services to NDIS participants
  • Complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) and progress reports
  • Prescribe assistive technology, mobility aids, and minor home modifications
  • Deliver therapy to support self-care, learning, mobility, and participation
  • Collaborate with Allied Health Assistants where hands-on support is needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with NDIS reporting standards
  • Liaise with participants, families, and support coordinators to ensure goals are met
  • Prioritise best practices and evidence-based interventions
