LOCATION - ADELAIDE AND GREATER SOUTH AUSTRALIA REGION

We are seeking passionate and dedicated NDIS Support Coordinators, Specialist Support Coordinators and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches to join our team of independent contractors. This role is unique, in that it is overseen by both a highly experienced Support Coordinator and Business Mentor and a Senior Social Worker. It will provide suitable candidates with an opportunity to learn, develop and further enhance their Coordination and Coaching skills.
These roles are designed to support NDIS participants to maximize their NDIS plans, by providing guidance, empowerment and connections to suitable NDIS and Mainstream services.

While prior experience with the NDIS and Support Coordination is preferred, it is not essential, as outlined above.

Responsibilities

  • Helping participants understand their plan
  • Supporting participants in budgeting their funding over the duration of their plan
  • Assisting participants in setting and achieving their NDIS goals on their own terms
  • Helping participants navigate crisis situations and overcome barriers
  • Researching and liaising with service providers, including mainstream and community services
  • Attending NDIA or LAC meetings, to assist with plan reviews and goal setting
  • Responding to participant enquiries in a timely manner
  • Preparing, collecting and submitting reports, as required.

Requirements

  • A valid ABN or willingness to apply for one
  • Knowledge of the NDIS
  • Ideally, a minimum of three years of tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g, Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Counselling, Arts)
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 Vaccination
  • A full driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Strong English communication skills (additional languages are a bonus)
  • General IT proficiency
  • Problem-Solving skills

Successful applicants will need to obtain relevant insurance and apply for a valid Police Check, Working with Children’s Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

  • Hourly Rate: $50-$60/hour, based on experience
  • Work Conditions: Flexible workdays, chosen by the contractor
  • Location: Work from home, with some face-to-face meetings required. Contractors will meet regularly via Zoom and phone calls for team support.
  • Equipment: Contractors must use their own computer and comply with digital security requirements.

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
