Bharosa Community Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Female Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to a 9-years-old boy with autism.About the Role: You will be supporting the participant in:

  • Core Supports: Assistance with daily living routines, community access, and building independence.
  • Skill Development: Encouraging social interaction, communication, emotional regulation, and everyday life skills through engaging activities.
  • Routine & Structure: Supporting transitions, promoting positive behaviour, and helping create a safe, supportive environment.

About You: We are looking for a female support worker who is:

  • English must be first language
  • Experienced in supporting children with autism or additional needs.
  • Patient, empathetic, and nurturing in approach.
  • Skilled in engaging children through play-based learning and structured activities.
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to build strong rapport with children and families.
  • Holds current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
  • Current First Aid/CPR certificate (desirable).
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and driver’s license (preferred).
