Description

Overview Element has an opportunity for a Nondestructive Etch Trainee to join our growing team. To conduct daily Etch tests in accordance with company approved procedures while paying close attention to safety and project timelines. Salary: $20.50/hr DOE Hours: 6am - 4:30pm Responsibilities • Conduct daily Etch logs in accordance with written company procedures• Process parts per Element procedures and/or specifications• General knowledge of chemical processes performed at EMT• Conduct Chemical additions• Maintain related test equipment and tools in good working condition• Complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner• Perform other duties as assigned Skills / Qualifications • High school graduate or equivalent• Etching metal plating experience a plus• Familiar with testing codes and standards• Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements.• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)• Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events/projects in the community• Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities.• Well developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs Diversity Statement At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
