At GA Telesis, our core business is integrated aviation solutions, and our mission is customer success We are seeking a qualified Aviation NDT Inspector specializing at our Landing Gear Services facility in Medley, Florida, to perform non-destructive testing inspections on aircraft components. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of aircraft landing gear by using approved NDT methods. The NDT Inspector is responsible for ensuring that inspections are performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, NDT Manual of GA Telesis requirements, as applicable. **Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position. Responsibilities: Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection and establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results Communication: excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills Conduct NDT for the acceptance of parts and document the results if a demonstration of proficiency in this ability was included in the practical examination Have a general knowledge of other NDT methods, product manufacturing, and inspection technologies used by the employer Perform Quality Control Inspections as required and record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer policies and procedures Analytical skills: must be able to gather information and use data to determine cause and effect for complex problem solving Verify that routine inspections and checks the NDI equipment are accomplished as per the manufacturer’s instructions Ensuring that the inspection tools and equipment, including inspection aids used to perform inspections, are in proper working order and the proper calibration information is affixed Other duties as instructed Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED Landing Gear inspection experiences, a plus for this role.
