Position Summary NDT Level 2 processes parts, evaluates and interprets results, documents results, and performs equipment verification checks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Carry out the necessary preparation of parts before and after the inspection. * Evaluate and interpret parts for acceptance/rejection criteria. * Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards. * Guide and supervise trainees and Level 1 personnel. * Stay current on the codes, standards, and contractual documents relating to the NDT processes performed at Premier Processing. * Perform internal audits of Penetrant Process. * Maintain clean work environment. * Other duties may be assigned as requested by the supervisor Position Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. PHYSICAL / NON-PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Lift parts, equipment, and tools up to 50lbs * Work non-traditional hours, such as overtime, weekends and holidays. * May require long periods of sitting and standing. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Knowledge of continuous improvement methods. * Basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology. * Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. * Reliable and responsible * Attention to detail as well as work efficiently QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE * NDT-Level II Certification required. * Minimum 400 hours experience in Liquid Penetrant Inspection.
Responsibilities
