QUALIFICATIONS

EN4179/NAS410 PT level 2 qualification

EXPERIENCE

Experience in NDT Level 2 role
Precision engineering/ Aerospace Experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Must be capable of reading and understanding standard work instructions and specifications
Must be adept in use of computers

Responsibilities
  • To apply Blue Etch Anodise and/or Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection to check conformity and integrity of components, identifying any defects or irregularities as part of the process.
  • To set up and verify equipment needed before use.
  • To apply testing criteria in accordance with customer or operational instructions ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
  • Interpret and evaluate testing outcomes, accurately preparing reports of those outcomes in accordance with work instructions.
  • Ensure all required documents are completed accurately in order to retain full traceability of the component.
  • Ensure system is updated with correct details of testing undertaken and results obtained.
  • Engage with other team members and contribute to improvements of working processes.
  • Any other duties of a relative nature as may be required from time to time
