JOB SUMMARY

Atomic NDT Ltd. is currently seeking a CGSB Level 2 NDT Technician (minimum RT2 & MT2 preferred ) to add to our growing team in Central Alberta. We offer competitive wages and benefits, local work throughout Central Alberta and a family oriented work environment.

Requirements:

  • CGSB Level 2 certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT2) - required and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT2) – preferred
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to professionalism
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients
  • Exceptional safety awareness and commitment to quality standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills with effective time management
  • Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate RT and MT equipment, ensuring proper use, care, and compliance with safety requirements (including radiation safety protocols).
  • Interpret test results, identify defects, and prepare clear, accurate inspection reports and documentation.
  • Follow established standards, procedures, and project requirements to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to timelines.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills when working with crews and clients on-site.
  • Maintain positive client relationships by providing professional service and ensuring inspection activities meet operational and safety objectives.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
