For more information: https://www.segulatechnologies.com/en/ Job Description Organize and execute NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) work site operations in compliance with approved specifications and operative procedures. Ensure Quality Control activities and full compliance with quality and safety procedures, including proper handling of ionizing radiation risks. Location: Project-based (International assignments) Experience Level: Mid-level (5-10 years) Key Responsibilities Organize and execute NDT operations on site (UT, MT, PT, RT, and other methods) Issue required Quality Records and send non-conformity reports to Quality Control Supervisor Liaise with welding technicians/foremen to identify causes of welding defects Check calibration of measurement instruments and related certifications Control storage and certification of consumables Provide maintenance of NDT equipment Carry out inspection activities and specific inspections on materials and equipment Prepare NDT procedures for assigned projects Audit NDT subcontractors and verify their compliance with procedures Provide training for NDT personnel Apply and ensure application of protection measures during activities with ionizing radiation risks Follow local, national, and international safety precautions for radiation safety Qualifications Education: Technical diploma or vocational qualification in NDT, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Formal NDT training from accredited institution Experience: 5-10 years as NDT Technician/Operator Extensive hands-on experience with multiple NDT methods Experience in oil & gas, construction, fabrication, or offshore projects Site-based NDT operations experience required Background in welding inspection and defect analysis Certifications (Required): NDT Level II certification in minimum 2 methods (UT, RT, MT, PT, ET, etc.) Certification per recognized schemes (ASNT, PCN, EN ISO 9712, or equivalent) Radiation safety certification for RT operations Valid certifications must be current and project-appropriate Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of NDT technologies and methodologies Proficiency in managing and monitoring NDT activities in laboratories and project/site environments Ability to check calibration of NDT instruments and certification validity Understanding of welding processes and defect identification Knowledge of instrument calibration and control procedures Familiarity with industry standards (ASTM, ASME, AWS, ASNT, etc.) Safety & Quality Knowledge: Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System Knowledge of quality control principles and Quality Control Plans Expertise in quality inspection activities and reporting Comprehensive understanding of radiation safety protocols Knowledge of construction sequences and planning Material preservation and warehouse procedures Core Competencies: High level of technical accuracy and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and make technical decisions Effective communication with welding and quality teams Training and mentoring capabilities Commitment to safety protocols and procedures Additional Information In SEGULA Technologies, la diversità, l'equità e l'inclusione sono al centro della nostra politica delle risorse umane.
