Salary: £52,500 – £55,000 per annum
Location: Based near Stadhampton, Oxfordshire (20 mins from oxford)
Hours: Monday to Friday, with lunchtime Friday finish (37 hours)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to oversee NDT operations—specifically radiographic testing, leak testing, and part marking—for a leading engineering business. NDT Supervisor Benefits

NDT Supervisor Duties

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the NDT and marking departments
  • Attending daily production meetings and setting clear staff priorities
  • Monitoring team KPIs and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols
  • Overseeing radiographic testing operations (RT Level 3 responsibilities if qualified)
  • Training and developing new and existing staff on methods and compliance
  • Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

NDT Supervisor Profile

  • Strong supervisory experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on knowledge of NDT (ideally radiography) in a production setting
  • Understanding of lean tools such as TQM, SPC, MRP, or Value Stream Mapping
  • A Level 3 RT qualification (ASNT/NAS410/EN4179) – highly desirable
  • NVQ4, HNC, or equivalent in engineering
  • Clear, confident communication and team leadership skills
