JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Preferred – Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the Quality Assurance or Quality Control area is preferred.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of non-destructive testing.
  • Knowledge of tubular and/or steel manufacturing process.
  • NDT Level I certified in at least one of the following methods: ET (Eddy Current), MFL (Magnetic Flux Leakage), or UT (Ultrasonics), per SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Preferrably NDT Level II certified in ET (Eddy Current), MFL (Magnetic Flux Leakage), and/or UT (Ultrasonics), per SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of API (5CT, 5L)/ ASTM (applicable standards)/ ISO 9001.
  • Knowledge of SAP

Responsibilities
  • Analyze test results and prepare reports for management to review.
  • Release orders after verifying NDT setups.
  • Verify SAP recipes.
  • Manage and maintain NDT standards database in SAP.
  • Communicate with IT Department (Q Server, MES, IS, updates, etc.)
  • Verify archiving of inspection data (Q Server, PPDB, and back ups on external drives etc).
  • Provide technical guidance to the NDT team.
  • Work with the NDT equipment suppliers in resolving any software related issues.
  • Conduct systematic quality and failure investigations.
  • Assist with QA/QC department on product order release, as needed.
  • Assist QA/QC department on inspecting/dispositioning products, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
