JOB SUMMARY

Do you live in the Netherlands and are you authorized to work here?

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

We are looking for a motivated professional who:

  • Has completed a vocational (MBO) technical education;
  • Holds at least Level II NDT certificates and has several years of experience;
  • Is willing to work offshore (preferred);
  • Holds or is willing to obtain an IRATA Rope Access certificate;
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license (B).
Responsibilities

As an NDT Technician at Kiwa Industrial Inspection, you are the expert in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). You inspect welds, materials, and structures for reliability—without causing any damage. You’ll work with various clients in the North Holland region, both onshore and offshore. Your role is essential for maintaining quality and safety in sectors such as industry, petrochemicals, infrastructure, and energy.

You’ll work with techniques such as:

  • Visual Testing (VT): Evaluating materials and welds for visible defects and surface flaws;
  • Penetrant Testing (PT): Detecting fine surface cracks using dye or fluorescent penetrant;
  • Magnetic Testing (MT): Locating cracks in ferromagnetic materials using magnetic fields;
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT): Inspecting internal flaws using high-frequency sound waves;
  • Radiographic Testing (RT): Imaging internal structures using X-ray or gamma radiation;
  • Time of Flight Diffraction (ToFD) / Phased Array (PA): Advanced ultrasonic methods for precise flaw detection;
  • Film Interpretation (FI): Assessing radiographic images based on standards and specifications.

Together with our planners and project managers, you ensure that inspections are carried out efficiently and accurately. Your expertise helps companies reduce risks, optimize maintenance strategies, and maintain high quality standards.
