Job Description We're looking for a talented Fullstack Java/React Developer to join our nearshore team for a Belgic client. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust fullstack applications that serve our global clients. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your technical expertise and analytical mindset will drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions. Design and develop fullstack applications using Java for backend services and React for frontend interfaces Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services seamlessly Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members and implementing improvements Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the entire stack Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team Engage actively in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to fullstack development Qualifications **Required Skills and Experience:** Proven experience with Java programming and backend development Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript Demonstrated fullstack development experience with end-to-end project ownership Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL) Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with unit testing and code quality practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills **Preferred Skills and Experience:** Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (plus) Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Background in performance optimization and scalability Contributions to open-source projects Experience with monitoring and logging tools Additional Information Devoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.
