Bachelors in law degree.
Minimum 1- 3 years of reviewing, drafting, and negotiating vendor contracts, either in-house or in a law firm.

Financial services legal department experience advising on technology vendor management/procurement related matters.
Specific experience advising or supporting legal team advisory on:
Affiliate and non-affiliate vendor contracts/contracting covering:
Real estate leasing;
Technology and infrastructure (e.g. cloud, on premises software);
Human resources (e.g. benefits, staffing);
Brand and Communication (e.g. events, sponsorship);
goods and services;
RFPs and NDAs;
IT & Sourcing specialist aspects of disputes, potential disputes and investigations.
Legal risk and supporting coordinated legal team commentary for third-party management committees.
Familiarity with and ability to issue spot in connection with relevant EU, US and Canadian laws, regulations, guidelines and advisories related to data privacy, outsourcing, third-party risk management, cybersecurity, incident notification and digital resilience, including:
EU (e.g. GDPR, DORA, the AI Act, European Banking Authority Guidelines on outsourcing arrangements);
US (e.g. GLBA, HIPAA, CCPA, New York State Department of Financial Services, 23 NYCRR 500 Cybersecurity Requirements for Financial Institutions, Interagency Guidance on Third-Party Relationships: Risk Management, Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, FFIEC Information Security IT Examination Handbook);
Canadian (e.g. Canadian and provincial (Quebec) privacy laws, Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Third Party Risk Management Guideline, Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Technology and Cyber Security Incident Reporting Advisory);
Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based in the United States and Quebec, Canada, ability to work in a professional capacity in English and French is required.
