General Established team of 3 NNPs and a remote Neonatologist Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences Full-time position 0.8 FTE Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination Responsibilities Level 2 NICU with 4 beds Average NICU census of 3-4/month and newborn nursery census of 4-8/day 7 days on; 14 days off; cover every 3rd weekend 24-hour shifts; dedicated NNP sleep room onsite Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Specialty skills: Circumcisions, intubations, surfactant administration UVC/UAC line placement/management, chest tube placement and management Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PNP with extensive NICU experience Board Certified Experienced NNPs preferred Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice Eligible to work in the United States We offer Competitive hourly rate A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
