OPEN POSITION: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner SCHEDULE: - Full-Time - 7 Shifts per Month - 24-Hour Shifts - Flexible Options Available COMPENSATION: - $135,000 to $150,000+ Base Salary, dependent on experience - Generous Bonus Structure - Malpractice Insurance - Health / Dental / Vision Insurance - Life Insurance - 401k - Full Package Negotiable LOCATION: Atlanta, Georgia COMPANY PROFILE: This organization is a physician-owned medical practice specializing in the care of expectant mothers and newborns. They were founded in 2016 by a small group of neonatologists serving a single hospital’s NICU. Since then, they have grown to operate in multiple states with more than 100 board certified neonatologists, OB hospitalists, and pediatric specialists on their team. They combine a national infrastructure with local support, using their breadth and depth of clinical and operational resources to allow physicians to focus their time on delivering care. POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is employed by a private group, with the role based in a medical center in Atlanta. The hospital is highly regarded for its commitment to women’s and children’s health. It is a Level 3 Trauma Center with a NICU and 331 licensed beds, performing an average of 250 deliveries per month. The schedule is coordinated collaboratively among all the providers, with the option to bundle shifts if preferred. Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to: - delivery attendance - day-to-day management of NICU - participate in multi-disciplinary rounds - provide collaborative, team-based care of NICU patients - ventilator management - nutrition management - lab review - meeting with families - newborn nursery coverage The hospital uses an EHR and clinical assistants are available to assist providers in all situations.
