General 28,000+ patient visits/year Certified Level II Pediatric Trauma Center Serves as the primary PED teaching site for pediatric and family practice residents as well as medical students from two universities Staffed 24/7 by pediatric emergency med physicians – Total staffed hours of 50 per day Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC Responsibilities Full-time role Work alongside a neonatology physician to bring about a team-based approach to care Rotate between downtown Methodist NICU and Methodist West special care unit 15 patients/day Level 3B NICU & Dedicated neonatal transport team Qualifications Neonatal Nurse Practitioner NRP Certified Board Eligible or Board Certified Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) We offer: Attractive incentive package A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in. Responsibilities
The role involves working alongside a neonatology physician using a team-based approach to care, rotating between the downtown Methodist NICU and the Methodist West special care unit. Responsibilities include managing approximately 15 patients per day within a Level 3B NICU environment.
