Position Overview: This position involves providing subject matter expertise for Operations & Planning standards under the NERC regulatory framework. The O&P Specialist will be responsible for internal compliance reviews, self-assessments, RSAW preparation, mitigation plans, and readiness support. Knowledge of EOP, PRC, MOD, FAC, and TOP standards is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of experience in utility O&P compliance
• Proficient in multiple NERC O&P standard families (PRC, EOP, MOD, FAC)
• Experience supporting WECC/NERC audits or mock audits
• Strong documentation and operational knowledge of system reliability standards

• Lead RSAW creation, documentation collection, and narrative development
• Conduct evidence reviews, audit simulations, and internal assessments
• Support self-certification, spot checks, and mitigation plan follow-through
• Advise on interpretation of evolving O&P standards and regional expectations
• Collaborate with operators, planning engineers, and SMEs to validate technical justifications
