MARINE SERVICES

VLS Marine Services division offers state-of-the-art barge cleaning, repair, and gas-free facilities for various chemical solvents and downstream petroleum products.
Requirements:

The growth of our company has driven a need for even more outstanding talent! We are looking for a talented .NET developer. You will be responsible for developing and coding back-end and front-end software solutions. To be successful, you should have in-depth knowledge of object-oriented .NET programming, an understanding of MVC design patterns, and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS3.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, IS or IT, or related field.
• 10 years of full stack .Net software development on web and client/server solutions.
• 10 years of experience developing Microsoft platforms, frameworks, and tools (Visual Studio, ASP.NET MVC, and C#) and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with CSS, JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap, and/or SQL (preferred)
• Experience with Git, Microsoft Azure (including DevOps)
• Proactive in character, willing to work through emerging ideas, solutions or new technologies.
• Aptitude to define concepts and solutions that will improve and advance the system or development process.
• Acts as a change agent for business detecting and offering effective, streamlined system solutions to business requirements.
• Experience with Acumatica Integration tools -preferred
• Ability to explain & justify design decisions and articulate the advantages and risks.
