.NET Architect Opportunity - Non-for-profit Sector - Stockholm
I am looking for a .NET Architect join a mid-sized company in the public sector. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET, Azure, and driving architectural governance across multiple initiatives.
You'll act as a senior architect with a holistic overview, working across both ongoing operations and new development. This is a strategic role, balancing big-picture ownership with ongoing delivery support. This is not a hands-on coding role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and align multiple initiatives (new website build, legacy site decommission, AI-powered API portal)
- Ensure everything fits into a cohesive architecture (MACH-oriented, microservices, Azure)
- Work closely with tech lead and developers, providing strategic direction.
- Drive architecture governance, including leading an architecture council.
- Support the shift toward a 24/7 service-oriented platform business.
- Contribute to decisions involving AI, APIs, Azure, and modern microservices setups.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience working with architecture
- Strong experience developing with .NET
- Experience working with microservice architecture
- Beneficial to have experience or strong interest in AI
This role requires candidates to speak fluent Swedish and cannot support visas.
