OVERVIEW

A .NET Architect with AI/ML responsibilities is a senior-level professional who designs and oversees the implementation of AI-powered solutions within a .NET environment. This role requires expertise in both .NET technologies and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) concepts and tools. They bridge the gap between business needs, .NET development, and AI capabilities, ensuring that AI solutions are effectively integrated into existing systems and processes.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong .NET Development Skills: Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and other relevant technologies.
  • Databases: SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB
  • AI/ML Expertise: Understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and AI development tools.
  • Data Science Fundamentals: Knowledge of data analysis, data preprocessing, and statistical modeling.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for AI/ML deployments.
  • System Design and Architecture: Ability to design scalable and robust AI systems.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and solve complex technical problems related to AI/ML implementation
    Also experience with ML.NET, ONNX or Open AI/GPT APIs is required

  • Architectural Design: Creating detailed architectural plans for AI systems, including data pipelines, model deployment strategies, and integration with existing .NET infrastructure.
  • Technology Selection: Evaluating and selecting appropriate .NET frameworks, AI/ML tools, platforms, and technologies for AI development, considering factors like scalability, cost, and compatibility.
  • Model Development and Integration: Overseeing the development, training, and deployment of machine learning models within the .NET environment, ensuring they meet performance requirements and integrate seamlessly with other applications.
  • Data Management and Integration: Designing and implementing data systems for ingesting, transforming, and storing data used by AI models, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
  • AI Strategy and Planning: Aligning AI initiatives with business objectives and developing long-term strategies for AI implementation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with stakeholders, data scientists, software developers, and other teams to ensure successful AI project delivery.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitoring and optimizing the performance of AI systems and models, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions for improved efficiency and accuracy.
