Job Title: .NET Backend Associate Architect

Our mission is to expand our airline customers’ sales channels and capabilities through the revolutionary New Distribution Capability (NDC) initiative by the International Air Transport Association (IATA)—transforming communication between airlines and travel agents.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET Core/.NET Framework and C# development.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with database technologies like SQL Server, Cosmos DB, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the airline or travel industry.
- Knowledge of IATA NDC standards and airline distribution systems.
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions for enhanced booking experiences.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a self-driven .NET Backend Associate Architect with strong ownership skills and a solution-oriented mindset to play a pivotal role in this transformation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C#, .NET, Azure, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). While experience in the airline domain is preferred, it is not required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect, design, and develop backend solutions for a high-performance airline booking engine.
- Ensure scalability, resilience, and robustness of the system to handle millions of booking requests efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and UX/UI designers, to create seamless customer experiences.
- Implement modern engineering practices such as CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enhance development efficiency.
- Optimize cloud-based solutions using Azure services and ensure secure, scalable deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the system.
