ABOUT THE JOB

You will be part of the team behind some of the market's most innovative retail solutions, where you will be responsible for developing unmanned services such as self-scanning and vending machines as well as digital solutions in catering. The team runs the entire service chain from customer experience to integrations and operations, and going forward you will also play an important role in the development of next-generation POS solutions. You will work from the office in Solna 2-3 days a week.

You will work as a consultant at an established retail player in Solna who builds smart, scalable and automated solutions for the future of retail. The focus is on simplifying processes and creating real value through innovation and digitalization.

JOB DUTIES

As a senior .NET developer, you will drive the development of cloud-based microservices and take responsibility for technical areas. You will work agilely with product owners, UX and design to create scalable solutions.

Your main duties include:

• Develop and further develop microservice architecture in Azure with .NET Core and Framework
• Build event-driven solutions with asynchronous and message-based communication via Azure Service Bus
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and container technologies
• Implement secure web solutions with TLS, OAuth 2.0/OpenIdConnect and load balancing
• Participate in DevOps work with CI/CD pipelines and automation via scripts
• Version control code in Git and ensure code quality through testable and beautiful code
• Communicate transparently with the team and contribute to continuous improvement
• Be a role model for other developers and share your knowledge

EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTERISTICS

Claim:

• Extensive experience with .NET Core and Framework as well as SQL and NoSQL databases
• Solid knowledge of asynchronous and event-driven architecture with Azure/Enterprise Service Bus
• Experience building cloud solutions in Azure with microservice architecture
• Good knowledge of web communication, networking, HTTP standards and security (TLS, OAuth 2.0)
• Practical experience with container technologies and Git
• Experience with DevOps tasks such as CI/CD and automation
• 4-8 years of experience as a consultant in the field (Level 3)
• Experience working in agile teams close to product owners, UX and design
