WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer.
- Experience with developing web applications and software within the Microsoft environment using ASP.NET MVC, C# and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience and knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with creating REST APIs.
- Experience and good understanding of Development/project methodologies.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
npower Business Solutions (nBS) powered by E.ON is a leading £5 billion revenue business with a vision to become the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK. We serve approximately 60,000 customers and manage around 300,000 meter points in the Industrial and Commercial (I&C) sector.
We have an exciting opportunity for x2 .NET Developers to join our team, x1 role is on a permanent basis, x1 role is on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. For this role, you will be responsible for building, optimising and supporting effective digital solutions, software and applications. You will provide consultancy on the solution design, specification, development, build, functional and user testing, deployment, migration and warranty provision of I&C owned and managed digital solutions. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) approximately 1 day per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in requirements analysis/assessments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce solution designs based on agreed architecture.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
- Test and deploy applications and systems.
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
- Improve and support existing software applications.
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
