ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join the Regulatory and Finance IT team, based at our London offices. The role falls within the Application Development team focusing on both ‘run the bank’ and ‘small change’ IT system activity, reporting into the Regulatory and Finance IT Technical Lead.
You may also be involved at some capacity in a number of ‘change the bank’ projects. These are key strategic initiatives sponsored in other areas of the bank that impact Regulatory Reporting.
The role can also involve out of hours support. This takes the form of being on-call for a week at a time that is currently on a shared rota.

• Hands-on experience with C# 0+, .NET Framework 4+, .NET Core, .NET 5+
• Agile development practices
• Thorough understanding and commitment to the Continuous Improvement philosophy
• NET 4 & ASP.NET Web APIs
• LINQ (to Objects, EF, XML)
• MVC, Blazor
• Javascript, jQuery, HTML, CSS
• SQL Server 2016 and above
• Entity Framework
• Test Driven Development

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Develop systems to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements
• Be an integral part in the full project lifecycle and software development lifecycle
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve any day to day Regulatory Reporting systems issues
• Become an SME of one or more applications within the team
• Determine how other other team’s changes or bank-wide initiatives might impact Regulatory Reporting and assist with specifying requirements back to the project teams
• Introduce improved processes and automation for regression testing, releases, maintenance tasks, etc.
