C# .NET DEVELOPER

An excellent opportunity to work on a large scale, high volume, business critical data processing system and gain experience with tools such as Kafka and MongoDB.
Based in Manchester city centre (2 days a week in office + flexible working hours), this role is paying between £40k and £55k + 10% bonus.

Requirements:

  • Existing .NET with C# development experience working on commercial systems
  • Awareness of design patterns and principles
  • A good grounding in C# OOP programming
  • Experience working with SQL Server
  • Knowledge of relevant design patterns
  • Expertise in performance optimisation
  • Experience working in an Agile or Kanban environmen
Responsibilities

You will be working within a cross functional development team on data processing and distribution systems, to increase their efficiency, reduce latency and scaling them to handle greater volumes. This will include the development of feature toggle technologies to enable quicker releases and potentially moving from Splunk to Open Telemetry.
The company’s ambition is to move away from legacy ways of working, so there is plenty of scope for you to make an impact and influence decisions which are made at team level.
