Position Overview: ZenPoint Solutions is seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to support a federal law enforcement agency’s enterprise software modernization initiative. In this role, you will be responsible for developing capable, high-quality back-end code. This position sits within a team providing software engineering support, ensuring applications meet operational and service requirements. This position is contingent upon the successful award of a government contract and subsequent government approval. Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Develop and maintain web applications using the .NET framework, specifically utilizing ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework. Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that complies with established coding standards. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary scrum teams to define, design, and implement technical software requirements. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug applications using Visual Studio and cloud environments (AWS). Requirements Required Qualifications: Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience. Professional Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical thinking, strong problem-solving capabilities, and proactive time management. Software Competency: Proficiency in standard Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, Visio, and Outlook. Virtual Collaboration: Experience preparing and facilitating virtual technical meetings and presentations using tools like MS Teams. Desired Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related technical field from an accredited institution. Cloud Experience: Practical development experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) architectures. Certifications: Professional certifications such as AWS Certifications or CompTIA Security+.
