About the role: Ciklum is looking for a self-motivated software engineer to join our Storage and Infrastructure team. We are developing storage infrastructure to organize and facilitate our business growth. Our team is the center of how customers and services store their critical data and trust its security, performance, availability, compliance and durability, which enables customers to derive intelligence and analytics through AI & BI. As a Software Engineer (.NET) , you’ll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experience of tomorrow. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using C# and .NET technologies * Leverage Azure services like Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Blob Storage, and SQL/No-SQL Databases to build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native solutions * Build and maintain microservices-based architectures using C#, ASP.NET, and others * Design and implement RESTful or gRPC APIs, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and products * Optimize architecture and solutions for scalability and availability with cost and maintenance in mind * Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges proactively * Align across teams for designs, communicate effectively, and resolve technical roadblocks * Guide and mentor other engineers through design and code reviews to ensure engineering excellence Requirements: * Systems Design: * 5+ years of experience in backend, infrastructure, or data platform engineering * Strong understanding of microservices-based architectures and cloud-native solutions * Proven ability to optimize architecture for scalability, availability, and cost * Database & Infrastructure: * Expertise in Azure (App Services, AKS, Blob Storage) * Strong experience with SQL and No-SQL databases * Practical experience deploying and operating systems on Kubernetes using modern CI/CD tools * Backend & APIs * High proficiency in C# and ASP.NET for building high-performance systems * Experience designing and implementing RESTful or gRPC APIs * Ability to resolve complex performance bottlenecks and ensure production readiness Desirable: * Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to deconstruct complex telemetry problems and identify core technical requirements * Commitment: Dedicated to the timely delivery of high-quality, reliable, and production-ready data platforms * Collaboration: A proactive team player who thrives in partnering with SRE and Platform teams in dynamic environments * Documentation Flair: Natural talent for creating clear, organized, and useful technical documentation and runbooks * Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn and adapt to the evolving ClickHouse and Observability ecosystem * English Proficiency: Ability to communicate clearly in global environments and understand complex technical documentation What`s in it for you? * Care: your mental and physical health is our priority.
