JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team, responsible for developing and supporting solutions using JavaScript libraries (Angular, Node.js), .NET Core C#, and related technologies. Experience with SQL Server is preferred. This role will focus on the development and support of modules for our Financial Calculation Engine, so basic financial knowledge is a big plus.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation (all phases of the software development life cycle - SDLC).
• Strong working experience with .NET Core and JavaScript libraries.
• Knowledge and experience using CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of the financial industry is an asset.
• Excellent functional, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

SKILLS:

• 6+ years of working experience in developing using open-source JavaScript libraries: Angular, Node.js, and Microsoft .NET.
• SQL Server fundamentals.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.

• Design and develop solutions using Angular, Node.js, .NET Core, SQL Server, and related technologies.
• Produce well-commented, high-quality code and technical & release documents.
• Interact with team leads and/or business analysts to understand business requirements.
• Provide technical walk-throughs to various stakeholders (QA Team, UAT Team, etc.).
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and address data-related inquiries and issues.Work independently as well as within a team.
