WHO WE ARE

LEAP Dev is the “Software House” powering LEAP Legal Software. For more than 30 years, our curiosity and commitment to continual improvement has kept us reimagining productivity tools for lawyers and their staff to support our guiding purpose, to ‘Help lawyers who help people’. The market-leading software we develop and support is used by more than 100,000 lawyers and their staff in small and medium-sized law firms.

Responsibilities

You’ll join Team Automations which is part of the Core Product team. LEAP’s platform contains multiple integrations (e.g with Microsoft Word and Outlook) that enable the most efficient functionality. To ensure a seamless workflow for our customers, it’s the automations team who ensure these automations are up to date with our most recent releases, and supported on multiple platforms (web, mobile, Mac).

This team is expanding and you’ll join as our newest Mid-Senior Software Engineer working on multiple projects varying from backend services to web applications, proposing new technologies and frameworks along the way to build the next generation of our products. Your day to day will include:

  • Develop and maintain:
  • Microsoft Office add-ins using VSTO and Office JS APIs
  • Client-side applications using React
  • Server-side applications using C#
  • Apply best practices and industry standards for software development, such as agile methodologies, test-driven development, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design and implement solutions.
