Description

We’re looking for a .NET software engineer/web developer with proven agency experience to work on a project in a fixed term role for 6 months.
As a Developer at Born Digital, you will use your skills as a seasoned professional with a full understanding of best practice development, to deliver quality solutions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
We will rely on your imaginative and practical input to help us deliver complex solutions for our customers.
You will work with a close knit team of different disciplines including Project Managers, Designers, other Developers and mobile specialists across a wide range of projects.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience developing applications for web, mobile and/or kiosk environments and will have been instrumental in the planning and development of projects throughout the development lifecycle.

You will be a problem solver, a good communicator and above all a team player – and will have strong experience with some of the following:

  • ASP.NET (Core + MVC)
  • Azure (App Services, AKS, Azure SQL)
  • JavaScript

HTML/XHTML

  • CSS, SaSS
  • SQL Server
  • Entity Framework (ORM)

Other desirable skills:

  • Angular
  • React
  • Azure DevOps
  • Agile
  • Umbraco (v8 or higher)

Good oral and written communication skills are essential, and the eligibility to work in NZ.
This role is full time for a fixed 6 month contract.
Remuneration package will reflect candidates’ skill level and experience.
