Summary We are seeking a talented individual for a Manager Application Development who provides strategy, roadmap and delivery of software systems for the enterprise using agile methodologies and cloud native architecture. This role will interact with senior business leadership to communicate and articulate technology roadmap, ROI, trends and emerging technologies. This position is a role that depends on excellent Microsoft .Net C# and TSQL skills and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.Your role in our mission Essential Job Functions Manages the creation of technical models which serve as blueprints for project engagements of various complexities. Manages the enhancement of existing products. Manages the design, pricing and marketing of products and services to provide support for the full life cycle of the product. Performs market research; prepares reports and presentations to inform and present opportunities to clients, marketing and senior management. Tracks market dynamics and potential market size to identify existing account development opportunities to sales teams to increase market share. Negotiates with hardware and software vendors, as appropriate, to obtain best prices, products, upgrades and enhancements. Interfaces with customers, brand management and development groups to act as a primary point of contact to provide input on customer products and operational requirements. Manages client expectations and balances the needs of organization and client to ensure satisfaction for relevant parties. Maintains revenue forecast information; identifies fluctuations to financial targets and assists in adjusting strategies to realize financial commitments for sale of product. Enhances product sales by supporting relationships with verticals, partners, systems integrators, consultants and professional services organizations to enhance client relationships. Manages the development of product management best practices to ensure that product development meets client needs and supports company business objectives. Participates in discussions regarding project decisions and project direction at the executive level. Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines. Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Master's degree in marketing, business, administration, or related field preferred Nine or more years of experience in product management Five or more years of leadership or supervisory experience Experience working with technical products, vendors, and families of technologies Experience working with product systems design principles Experience working with financial operations concepts, practices, and procedures Other Qualifications Strong skills in product development methodology such as vision and strategy (VS), business area architecture (BAA), ierative custom development (ICD), package-based development (PBD) or accelerated application development (X/AD) Good communication skills Presentation skills to present ideas or tasks to individuals and groups Good skills at managing risks during product launches Good creative thinking/designing skills Leadership skills to mentor, motivate and provide guidance to project personnel Personal computer and business solutions software skills Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly Ability to anticipate problems, handle and resolve ambiguity and take decisive action with regard to the impact on both the client and company Ability to adapt to changing environments and/or situations, handle multiple tasks simultaneously,What we're looking for 4+ years' experience with running medium to large/complex projects or teams with multiple interactions and dependencies In-depth and strong technical skills in working with Microsoft .Net or Dot Net Core, C#, WCF,SQL, Web API, LINQ In-depth and strong technical skills on DevOps/CICD with source control tools such as GitHub and Microsoft’s Visual Studio Code, C# and Microsoft SQL Server. Strong history of performing code reviews and code walk-thru’s with developers, leading and guiding less experienced developers in best practices and strong development practices. In-depth data analytical skills with working knowledge on Microsoft SQL Server and a strong command of the TSQL language. Extensive people leadership experience in a large organization with layers of management directly reporting Demonstrated ability to define and communicate strategy and vision and influence across the Enterprise is essential Ability to identify, attract, recruit and hire talent, and to build high performing teams Ability to coach, mentor, and provide direct, timely performance feedback; experience setting direction, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability What you should expect in this role Remote work environment
