We’re looking for an experienced NetSuite Expert to join our team on a contract basis. You’ll be crucial in optimizing and troubleshooting our current NetSuite implementation, ensuring it effectively supports both our SaaS and Custom Manufacturing business units. This is a critical role for someone who can quickly assess, diagnose, and resolve complex NetSuite issues, ensuring our system functions efficiently and effectively across diverse operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a NetSuite Administrator, Consultant, or Expert.
  • Proven track record of successfully troubleshooting and resolving complex NetSuite issues across diverse business models.
  • Deep understanding of NetSuite modules, including but not limited to Financials (with strong emphasis on SaaS revenue recognition principles), Inventory Management, Order Management, Work Orders, Assembly Builds, Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), CRM, and SuiteCommerce (if applicable).
  • Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, Saved Searches, and Reports.
  • Experience with NetSuite integrations using SuiteTalk or other integration platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders from both SaaS and Manufacturing teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • NetSuite Administrator or Consultant certifications.
  • Valid Chartered Professional Accountant licence.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of our existing NetSuite configuration, including modules, customizations, workflows, and integrations, with a specific focus on supporting the unique requirements of both our SaaS revenue recognition and custom manufacturing processes.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve NetSuite-related issues, errors, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring seamless operations for both business units.
  • Optimize NetSuite processes, workflows, and data integrity to improve efficiency and user experience, specifically enhancing order-to-cash for SaaS subscriptions and procure-to-pay/manufacturing workflows for custom goods.
  • Implement best practices for NetSuite usage, security, and data management, considering the distinct compliance and operational needs of each business unit.
  • Provide expert guidance and hands-on support for NetSuite modules such as Financials (including revenue recognition for SaaS), Inventory (for manufacturing components and finished goods), Work Orders/Assemblies, CRM, and Supply Chain.
  • Develop and implement custom NetSuite solutions (scripts, workflows, saved searches, reports) as needed, with an emphasis on automating processes unique to SaaS billing cycles and custom manufacturing production flows.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders from both the SaaS and Custom Manufacturing divisions to understand their specific business requirements and translate them into robust NetSuite solutions.
  • Document all changes, configurations, and resolutions thoroughly.
  • Provide training and support to end-users across both business units as required.
