Description This is an in-person job. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Administrator II to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of network technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor network performance, ensuring optimal operation and reliability. - Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner. - Implement and maintain network security measures to protect sensitive data. - Collaborate with other IT staff to design and deploy network solutions. - Document network configurations, procedures, and policies. - Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and expansions. - Contacts outside organizations related to service, maintenance, and purchases pertaining to the network. - Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in network administration. - Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). - Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems/administration and VMWare. - Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security practices. - Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
