JOB TITLE - NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
Work Mode- Onsite (Austin,TX)
Work Time - 8 AM - 5 PM CST
Work Duration- Services are expected to start 07/21/2025 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Skilled Network Administrator who will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), wireless networks, and Internet systems. This position ensures network availability, performance, and security by monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network hardware, software, and related systems.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Weekly progress reports of work completed and current priorities.
- Timely response and resolution of incidents and requests
- Maintenance of up-to-date system and network documentation
- Status updates on identified risks, challenges, and upcoming maintenance activities
- Criminal history check required of successful candidate
- Must complete the required IT Security training; certificate of completion must be provided to TSLAC
- May include occasional after-hours support for scheduled maintenance or urgent incident
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 Years of required experience in Network Administration or Support Roles
- 3 Years of required experience in Strong knowledge of Microsoft server environments, Microsoft 365, and virtualization platforms (eg., VMware, Hyper-V).
- 3 Years of required experience in Hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki network equipment and VoIP systems
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Documenting and supporting compliance-driven IT environments
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Administering and managing Windows Server environments (2012 or later) within an Active Directory domain
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Managing access control lists, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), file and print services, and automation systems. Support imaging/document management systems. Provide operational support for VoIP-based phone systems
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Configuring and supporting core TCP/IP services such as LDAP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Working within virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) to support system uptime and scalability
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Administering Cisco networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN infrastructure
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Supporting internal LAN/WAN infrastructure, wireless access points, and all telecommunications systems
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Administering and troubleshooting Meraki wireless infrastructure. Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as PRTG, MRGT, and ManageEngine
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Performing software and hardware updates, upgrades, and proactive troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Providing documentation and reporting as required for audits, compliance, and internal use
- 3 Years of preferred experience in Maintaining Microsoft 365 services including user account provisioning, mailbox management, Teams, and SharePoint
