REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be an Australian citizen
- Must Possess an active AUS PV Clearance.
- Minimum of an Associates degree in Computer Science or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of directly related technical, professional experience required.
- Requires knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking principals in a Microsoft Environment to include network topologies and transmission media
- Possess a current Security+ Certification
- Provides technical support for Microsoft Windows 2012/Win7 and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN troubleshooting.
- Experience with IT support tools, ticketing systems, and remote desktop applications.
- Experience in an enterprise IT environment or supporting large-scale systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to plan and achieve a variety of tasks. Able to set priorities and deal with a number of issues and deadlines concurrently.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following security protocols.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certifications in disciplines such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft certifications in Windows Server and Windows Client.
This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

Responsibilities:
In the role of Network Administrator, your duties will include:
- Maintain, install, upgrade and configure data systems.
- Administer operating systems and maintain basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups.
- Perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
- Display core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
- Manage multiple IT vendors to ensure completion of IT projects in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
