NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph clearance to be considered.
As a Network Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining the customer’s server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Windows, RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), and Oracle OS servers. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our systems, including both physical hardware servers and virtual machines (VMs).

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUESTED:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with the willingness and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Requires an active 8570 IAT II or higher credential
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing Windows and/or Linux server environments
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services
  • Experience in system patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues independently
  • Maintain system availability and reliability in a 24/7 environment
  • Document system configurations and processes clearly

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software, including Windows, RHEL, and Oracle OS servers.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems.
  • Perform monthly security patching for all servers.
  • Ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues across different operating systems.
  • Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
  • Manage both physical hardware servers and VMs.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to support network infrastructure and other IT projects.
  • Keep up to date with the latest server technologies and best practices.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
