As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Network Administrator to join our MSP Corp team.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of all assigned client IT networks with collaboration from other teams. This is a pro-active role that includes assessment, planning, implementing, and managing solutions in client networks.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)
  • Location: Kingston
  • Work Mode: Hybrid
  • On-Call: Availability required
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy items (e.g., computers and peripherals)
  • Mobility: Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle required
  • Travel: Project deployments - site assessments

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Maintenance of assigned client networks
  • Continual building of skills with training and certification
  • Management of change requests
  • Resolution of escalations from the Support Desk Team
  • Regular and meticulous documentation of client networks
  • Creation and maintenance of knowledgebase articles
  • Assessment of client networks and suggestions for improvements
  • Collaboration with the Projects team to develop and implement solutions for clients
  • Visits to client sites to review and document the physical security, network device and topology, structured wiring, labeling.
  • Regular reviews of service order activity for clients
  • Manage the process and procedures of ‘Onboarding’ new clients, which includes bringing the client’s network up to On Serve’s standards.
  • Daily monitoring of backup jobs
  • Working with the Sales Account Manager Team to continually build and improve relationship and communication with clients.
  • Mentoring of junior technicians.
