Description

Overview Nakupuna Services is seeking a Network Administrator. The Network Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure, including wireless systems, routers, switches, Cisco DNA Center, and Identity Services Engine (ISE) while ensuring network security, performance, and reliability. Responsibilities The following duties reflect management's definition of essential functions for this job but do not restrict the tasks that might be assigned. Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons: Network Infrastructure Management Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, wireless) Network engineering support will maintain the R&D networks and systems supporting the application development and application hosting environments, in coordination with the network service providers Manage Cisco DNA Center infrastructure Administer Cisco ISE platform Monitor network performance and availability Provide 99.5% uptime of hardware, operating systems, and networks during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 0700 to 1900, and infrequent support outside regular business hours, including weekends. Implement network security policies Troubleshoot network issues Provide reporting information assurance and validations into various Army/DoD systems Perform network upgrades and maintenance Manage network capacity and planning Wireless Network Management Configure and maintain wireless controllers Manage wireless access points Optimize wireless coverage and performance Implement wireless security measures Monitor wireless network health Conduct wireless site surveys Troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues Maintain wireless documentation Security and Access Control Manage ISE policies and configurations Implement network access control Provide system and network implementation complying with all applicable security requirements including but not limited to the DISA STIGs and their respective checklists. Configure network segmentation Monitor security compliance Manage authentication and authorization Handle security incidents Maintain security documentation Implement BYOD solutions Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of network administration experience Required certifications to perform job duties including at a minimum Security+ CE and any additional specific standards such as: Cisco CCNP Enterprise Cisco CCNP Security Cisco DNA Center Certification Cisco ISE Certification Wireless Professional Certifications CompTIA Network+ Skills/Qualifications Technical Skills Expert knowledge of networking protocols Strong understanding of wireless technologies Experience with Cisco DNA Center Proficiency with Cisco ISE Knowledge of network security principles Understanding of routing and switching Experience with network automation Familiarity with SDN concepts Core Competencies Network troubleshooting Performance optimization Security implementation Configuration management Network design Policy administration Automation scripting Documentation skills Leadership qualities Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen. The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $135,000.00 to $169,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
