Description

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, maintaining, and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and security across all systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse network technologies and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver reliable solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement advanced network infrastructures, including wired and wireless systems, to meet organizational needs.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking hardware such as firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
  • Apply and maintain robust security measures, including access controls and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard network integrity.
  • Monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform routine updates, including firmware upgrades and security patches, to maintain system reliability.
  • Address and resolve network problems efficiently to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and changes for future reference.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide prompt support for critical network issues.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues when necessary.
  • At least 5 years of experience in network administration with attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and OSI model.
  • Hands-on experience with network devices, including Cisco and Juniper hardware.
  • Proficiency in using network monitoring tools like Nagios and SolarWinds.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration.
  • Capacity to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA or higher are highly preferred.
