Description
SAIC is seeking a, Fully Remote, Network Administrator to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Revolutionary IT Services (RITS) program to conduct planned and coordinated network maintenance, break/fix actions, service level agreements (SLAs) performance, incident resolution, ticket queue management, customer service actions, and other enterprise network operations activities in the USACE OCIO/G-6 environment, IAW DoD, Army, and USACE O-CIO G6 policies and procedures. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate openly and frankly with all internal and external partners, such as Government Engineers, Contractor Engineers, Contractor Operations staff, Management, and 3rd party vendors. Work independently, help others, and ask for help without hesitation while delivering outstanding customer service. Complete all assigned tasks regarding planned and unplanned maintenance on Networking products within the Corps of Engineers’ environment. Support Break/Fix actions as required. Maintain support for customers in accordance with Service Level Agreements. Take appropriate action on tickets placed into individual or team queue to resolve incidents in a timely manner. Act in accordance with USACE OCIO/G-6, DOD, and Army G6 policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned/required. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and two (2)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree. Working technical knowledge of network control protocols (QOS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec). Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing is required (OSPF, BGP). Understanding of WAN/LAN transport technologies (Ethernet, DMVPN, MPLS). REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: Must have a current CompTIA Security+ certification Must have a current Cisco CCNA certification REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to hire, SAIC will help to obtain. Must have Current US Citizenship.
