Description Spero Health is seeking a Network Administrator to join our awesome team! In this role, you’ll be part of an integrated technical team supporting clinics that provide patients with counseling, case management, and medication-assisted treatment—because we believe the best outcomes come from treating the whole person. The Network Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Administer and maintain servers, including user and group management, security permissions, Group Policy, print services, event log analysis, and resource monitoring to ensure optimal performance Monitor datacenter health; respond to hardware/system incidents and support server builds, testing, and maintenance. Manage internal IT infrastructure: endpoints, virtual environments, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, access points, printers, VOIP telephones, security updates, and LAN/WAN connectivity. Design and maintain Active Directory structures, security groups, and OUs for improved manageability and security. Build and maintain automation to streamline IT workflows and increase operational efficiency. Troubleshoot escalated issues (Tier 2/3) with Help Desk; perform root-cause analysis and remediation. Collaborate with vendors/consultants on issue resolution, upgrades, and corrective actions. Participate in vendor selection and contract management; track IT expenditures, license utilization, and procurement. Evaluate hardware/software, recommend improvements, and implement solutions that meet user and business needs. Conduct regular system audits, verify backups, and ensure data integrity. Lead or contribute to IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. Be available for occasional after-hours work for maintenance, upgrades, outages, or urgent incidents. Participate in cross-functional initiatives and take on evolving responsibilities. Requirements Education: Associate’s degree or relevant certifications preferred (i.e., A+, Network+, VMware Professional) Experience: 2+ years of demonstrated Information Technology related experience 1+ years of network administration experience 1+ years of virtualization administration experience Specialized Skills and Knowledge: Windows Server administration and Azure AD proficiency. Experience managing Windows and Linux systems. Virtualization concepts and hands-on experience. OS hardening and incident triage/response with complex systems. Familiarity with HIPAA standards. Fortinet and Ubiquiti experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel as needed.
