PAYRATE – $23.91/HR - $25.00/HR

We are looking for a Network Administrator who can keep our technology running smoothly, securely, and reliably. You will work in a predominantly Mac-based environment and handle everything from network performance to cameras, phones, and end-user support. Most projects are self-paced, but you will be the go-to person when something breaks or needs improving. The work changes daily, the challenges are interesting, and your skills will directly support our mission of caring for youth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree from an accredited college or university or an Associate’s degree with 2 years IT experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership on a daily basis, as well as in crisis situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative manner with a variety of disciplines and levels of staff within an organization.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer networks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security networks.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of computer network design, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, repairs and security.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of computer hardware, including recommending, purchasing, installation, maintenance, and repair/support of computer hardware.
  • A reference from an immediate supervisor verifying qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and secure our Mac-based network environment
  • Troubleshoot and support hardware, software, cameras, and IP phones
  • Monitor Wi-Fi, firewalls, and network performance
  • Set up new hardware, configure software, and onboard staff
  • Administer and support Google Workspace for all users
  • Maintain our security camera system for campus safety
  • Provide on-call support for urgent issues when needed
  • Create clear documentation and user guides
  • Keep systems compliant with HIPAA, FERPA, and PI/PHI requirements
