REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with multi-vendor hosted environments
  • Strong understanding of IP and TCP/IP protocols
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and OSI model
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
  • Good knowledge of hosting marketplace
  • Solid understanding and production experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix, Nutanix etc)
  • Nice have Cisco CCNA, MS MCSA/MCSE, Red Hat RHCT or other, Network+ or other network and OS related certifications or experience
  • Nice to have knowledge of SQL, Exchange

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1 year network experience in a data center and managed IT services environment
  • College, University Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of Canada processes and systems an advantage
  • Capable of building an informal knowledge network to assist in their knowledge and development within Canada
  • Ability to work shifts in a 24/7/365 environment
  • Fluent in French
