Network Analyst, Nairn Centre, Ontario
When you join our team as a Network Analyst, you will focus on network infrastructure administration and operations to ensure a stable environment and maximize network availability. Working as part of the IT Infrastructure and OT team, this role handles network-related escalations, requests, and assigned projects. You will take a collaborative approach to problem-solving while engaging with internal customers and external vendors to ensure efficient delivery of infrastructure services.
Must be available to work extended hours outside of regular business hours and travel up to 40% as needed. Travel requirements include a valid driver’s license, a personal credit or debit card for reimbursable expenses, and the ability to rent a car, fly, and drive to all Interfor locations across the U.S. and Canada.
This role is full time in office but can be based out of any of our locations in Ontario.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor network infrastructure performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to maintain optimal functionality.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and handle escalations related to network issues.
  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose problems.
  • Install, replace, and manage network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi equipment.
  • Create and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures.
  • Ensure network consistency, reliability, and recoverability.
  • Follow corporate change management procedures to maintain effective control over network changes.
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting network hardware and software.
  • Use the IT ticketing system to track and manage incidents, escalations, and requests.
  • Collaborate with team members, departments, and vendors to analyze network requirements and ensure the infrastructure aligns with organizational needs.
  • Participate in rotational after-hours support.
