Job Description: The overall mandate of the Network Analyst, NOC is to ensure the smooth operation of PATTISON Outdoor Advertising’s digital network infrastructure by collaborating with other members of the NOC, internal departments as well as third party partners and vendors. Part of the responsibilities are to monitor, triage, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents remotely, and to provide phone support to technicians working on digital signage equipment in the field.
The ideal candidate would possess strong troubleshooting skills, solid networking skills, intermediate Windows knowledge, basic familiarity with Linux, and basic computer (PC) hardware knowledge. Basic understanding of display technology and video distribution is an asset, but not required.
This role requires the ability to creatively solve issues and have the desire to actively learn new systems as technology evolves. A large part of the position involves visualizing a problem that is not always directly in front of you, while the technician in the field acts as your eyes and ears. Attention to detail is key in documenting and analyzing information gathered during troubleshooting and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Field incoming inquiries and requests using a ticketing system
Clearly document troubleshooting steps and resolution using a ticketing system
Learn the equipment and infrastructure to full understanding
Coordinate and support technicians working in the field
Update technical documentation as needed
