NETWORK ANALYST:

On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Network Analyst for a 6 month contract role. This position is remote with the client based in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

NETWORK ANALYST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role involves supporting and leading network-related projects and initiatives, focusing on a core network upgrade and technology migration from Cisco to Aruba. The Network Analyst will also contribute to implementing a new monitoring solution and support network requirements for a new CCTV solution.

NETWORK ANALYST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 5+ years in a network analyst role supporting medium to large organizations
  • Experience with Network Management and Security Implementation
  • Proficient in Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto technologies
  • Experience in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and HTTP/HTTPS protocols
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

NETWORK ANALYST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with additional network security measures
  • Knowledge of advanced network protocols
  • Experience in a similar industry
  • Familiarity with project management principles
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Technical Architect on planning and designing the core network upgrade
  • Assist in the migration from Cisco networking to Aruba technology
  • Support networking aspects of a new IT infrastructure monitoring solution
  • Provide network support for a new CCTV solution, including firewall rules and networking ports
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and performance reports
