Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, governance, and operational management of enterprise edge platforms that provide content delivery, web application firewall (WAF), bot protection, DDoS mitigation, API security, and edge compute capabilities. This role ensures high availability, performance optimization and application-layer protection for digital services. This is a Hybrid position located at our Bangalore, India, development center. You will be required to be on-site 2 to 3 days per week. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to our Bangalore office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time. About the Role: You will lead the planning, design, and development of robust security architectures. You will oversee the deployment of network and system security measures while ensuring full alignment with corporate cybersecurity standards and protocols. You will monitor cybersecurity controls across LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and other network infrastructure components. You will conduct security evaluations of applications and systems through penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and comprehensive risk analysis. You will Configure and deploy firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other critical security technologies. You will have to apply software patches and updates to remediate system vulnerabilities and respond promptly to cybersecurity incidents and deliver detailed post-incident reviews. You will have to investigate security breaches and perform thorough digital forensic analyses. About You: You should over 7+years of relevant experience in network and application security engineering, including at least 5+ years managing enterprise WAF platforms. You should have hands-on expertise with bot management, fraud prevention solutions, and analyzing packet captures and application logs. Your background should include a minimum of 5years in cloud security architecture, with strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP. You should be well‑versed in cloud-native security guardrails, third‑party security tools, cloud networking, and IAM principles such as authentication and authorization. You also should have a solid understanding of application security, covering key protocols, cryptographic concepts, and edge security environments like CDNs. You should be passionate about cloud security, continuously learning and staying current with modern best practices and emerging technologies. You should be able to thrive in ambiguity, demonstrate strong ownership and urgency, and bring excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
