This role is critical to ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of our enterprise network infrastructure. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad spectrum of technologies while helping drive innovation and operational excellence.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to all audiences.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with the following:
  • Microsoft 365
  • NAS/SAN storage systems
  • VOIP phone systems
  • Active Directory administration
  • Tape backups and disaster recovery procedures
  • Windows Server and PowerShell
  • IP-based security camera systems

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain all Cafaro networking equipment, including Dell, Cisco, and Aruba switches and APs.
  • Manage wireless infrastructure including Extreme, Cambium, and Ubiquity access points.
  • Implement and manage network security measures using Fortigate Firewalls and Endpoint Encryption.
  • Conduct penetration testing and security audits to ensure data integrity and protection.
  • Monitor system performance and logs to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues.
  • Research, test, and recommend new technologies to enhance infrastructure efficiency and security.
  • Maintain documentation, including knowledge base articles and technical training materials.
  • Plan and communicate scheduled maintenance or downtime for production systems.
  • Collaborate with department heads and leadership to develop solutions and best practices.
  • Provide high-level support to end users and assist the Helpdesk team when needed.
  • Participate in IT department projects and function as on-call support as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by IT leadership.
