The Havelhöhe Community Hospital gGmbH is currently seeking a:n

Network and System Administrator (m/f/d)

full-time (40 hours/week).

We are an anthroposophical acute care hospital and academic teaching hospital of the Charité with 426 beds, characterized by an integrative approach to medicine.

Our IT department ensures that the technical infrastructure of a modern hospital functions reliably – from the network connection to secure communication between medical and administrative systems.

To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a: Network and System Administrator (m/f/d).

YOUR TASKS

• Administration and support of the network and server infrastructure
• Installation, configuration, maintenance and operation of server hardware and operating systems (Windows and Unix servers as well as the email system)
• Configuration, maintenance and management of virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox)
• Planning and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Configuration and administration of the IT security solution (including firewall)
• Administration of server-side and client-side AD policies
• Conception, implementation and monitoring of IT security measures in the server area
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of network components
• Certificate Management
• Ensuring stable and secure network operation
• Analysis and resolution of network and infrastructure disruptions
• Support for IT projects and the introduction of new systems
• Collaboration with external IT service providers
• Providing support to colleagues in IT support with more complex technical issues
• Creation and maintenance of IT documentation

WE WISH

• Qualifications and education: Completed studies in (business) informatics or completed vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or a comparable qualification
• Technical skills: sound knowledge of network management/network technologies, server administration and IT security
• Personal qualities: Teamwork skills and friendly, service-oriented communication. An independent, structured, and reliable work ethic, as well as analytical and solution-oriented thinking skills.
